Electronic diagnostics, mechanical fault-finding and repairs for commercial trucks and fleet vehicles from our East Tamaki workshop or on site across Auckland.
Truck faults diagnosed with the whole system in mind.
Modern commercial trucks combine mechanical, pneumatic and electronic systems, so a dashboard warning or performance problem does not always identify the failed component. Byfleet approaches truck diagnostics methodically, using the driver's report, fault information and physical testing to determine what is actually causing the problem.
Our East Tamaki workshop supports commercial vehicles that need controlled diagnosis and repair, while mobile service is available for suitable Auckland fleet and site work. We also diagnose Wabco and Knorr-Bremse braking systems and can assess and repair suitable defects identified during COF or VCA preparation.
We record the truck details, driver observations, warning messages, recent repair history and the conditions under which the problem appears.
02
Scan and physically test
Electronic information guides the diagnosis, but we also inspect and test the relevant mechanical, braking, wiring or supply system before recommending parts.
03
Repair and confirm
After agreeing on the work, we complete suitable repairs and verify the affected system so the vehicle can return to service with clearer information.

What truck diagnostic systems can Byfleet work with?+
Byfleet provides electronic and mechanical fault-finding for commercial trucks, including diagnosis of Wabco and Knorr-Bremse braking systems. Contact us with the truck make, model and symptoms so we can confirm the right approach.
Can you help with faults identified during a COF or VCA inspection?+
Yes. We can assess listed mechanical defects, explain the required repairs and complete suitable work before the vehicle is presented again.
Can truck diagnostics be completed on site?+
Many initial diagnostic checks can be completed on site across Auckland. Workshop work may be recommended when the repair needs specialist equipment, extended testing or better access.
